The Third Day Christmas Celebration

Christmas is a time of forgiving and proclaiming peace.  Thinking about those you come in contact with every day; is there someone who needs forgiveness or peace that you may help to provide.  I get concerned sometimes that I have offended people when I never meant to.  I hate finding out that I have caused someone to be hurt.  And I pray that they will find it in thier hearts to forgive me.  I never mean to make people feel less than loved.

“Have a joyous time in celebrating Christmas—for despite discouragement and disheartening conditions throughout the world, it is the happiest season of the whole year. But let us ever keep in mind that people are most blessed whose daily conduct most nearly comports with the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, at whose birth was proclaimed: Peace on earth. Good will toward men” (David O. McKay, in Christ’s Ideals for Living, 17).

Christmas time seems to make people even better than they are.  The Spirit of Christ is amazing that way.  So today I had to make something extraordinary.  Try these brownies

UBER-DOOBER PB BROWNIES
Preheat oven: 350 degrees             line 9x9 pan with foil and grease the foil.

4 oz bitter sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup PB creamy
melt them together in a sauce pan over low heat, then let it cool
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
stir these ingredients one by one into the cooled chocolate mixture
2/3 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
stir these ingredients into chocolate mixture until smooth.
1 cup chopped peanut butter cups
stir these into chocolate mix just before placing in the oven.  Cook 30 min. or until set.
Cool
1/2 cup PB creamy
1/2 cup soften butter
1 Tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
mix together in small bowl
gradually beat in 2 cups of flour.  Makes a stif frosting
spread frosting over brownies.
Lift brownies out of pan using foil edges.  Cut into bars and enjoy.

They are extreme.  I loved them.  So I hope you enjoy as well.
